yup this guy scammed me for $15,000.00 canadain. i gave him all the money up front in trust that a 110 would show up from belize. it never did. five years and i still wait for it. so watch out for him. he does not have a good name with the rover guys around town here anyway. well i guess i should have learned after i bought a 74 rangie that was junk. but dont worry it was only a cool 8,000.00

it has gone to court as i sued him for the money. i got judgement two months ago and he was orederd to pay the $15,000.00 did he? well take a guess. he is clamining that he is on old age pension and therefore on a fixed income. when the judge asked him what did you do with the money he stated that he spent it on trips to belize. slimmy character. so i will wait a year and then sue him again for the intial sum and intrest. and if he dosent pay than i will have to sue the wife. and buy the time it is all over i pretty much have lost all the money anyway. we are already at $3500.00 in legal fees and time.

FYI, here in the States there's a thing called the Tax Intercept. Any tax return he gets has to go toward payment of the judgment before he gets a dime of the return. Not sure how it works in Canada, eh?, but maybe call a barrister and see if there's something similar...

Really... good luck with that.

if he's close enough to take to court, then he's close enough to just go collect in person.

any pointers on how to collect in person would be greatly appreaciated. cause it seems as when i look at this guy i want to kick him. well i guess archery season is opening soon, i mean i guess i could set a tree stan in his front yard and take him with a xx75 arrow. real boone and crockett points there.

or even better i could lure him with DICK IN HEAT/FRESH MONEY sent down to the river and snag him with a good old fashioned newfie snare, followed by a swining limb trap , so that when he steps backward he falls into a pit with wooden spikes on the bottom leaving him there only to be urinated on by passing dogs. ha or maybe a time bomb under.... lets hope the legal system will work. cause if i could do it the old western ways i sure would. dualling pistols anyone

Get your biggest 3 friends, tell them there's $100CDN in it for them, and pay him a visit.

Does he have any property -- land or otherwise? You could attach the property and try to force a sale of it (takes a really long time with land). Also in US you can attach 25% of his wages/monthly income. Above available in US, not certain in Canada.

File a police report
In US I'd get the sherriffs into his house and take the property and or file a lien on it.
