They're not listed on the tire chart in the tech section and I always forget what is what for the tire number system, so ....275/70R16 will they fit a stock DII with 16" wheels? "I have a chance to pick up a set from a friend" Carl |

On a stock DII, you might have both width and height clearence issues. Height issues could be resolved by a mild 1" lift and width issues could be remedied by an aftermarket wheel with a more mild offset (I think). This is by no means biblical, and depending on what kinda gear you have affecting the trucks weight, driving habits and what not, you may not have any issues. All in all, its a case by case situation. Why not throw on a mild lift and solve any potential problem on the front side? Luke |

I've been planning on a lift for a while. (no comments DEAN!) ..I'm thinking about a CB lift. It's a 99 with ACE. I don't think a mild lift would effect the ACE. I have a set of Range Rover 16" wheels that I plan to use. Thank for your help Luke. Guess I'll just have to try them and see. Carl |

From what I can gather, the ACE wouldn't be affected by a a mild lift. Don't know much about CB lifts, but if you are interested in OME, I have a 'new in box' set of rear springs for a DII (they are medium duty). Could save you a few bucks in the end. -Luke |

That sound good Luke. A CB (Cheap Bastard) lift is OEMs in the rear and move the stock rear springs to the front. I'll write you off line about the springs. Thanks, Carl |
