I just ordered my Bilsteins and Land Rover Heavey Duty Springs and just wanted to see what other people thought about this set up? How much will it really lift my Disco? Do you like it? |

When I get ready to do this I will probably go with the OME HD springs and OME corresponding shocks from EE. |

I asked about the LR HD springs about a week ago, and was informed that they don't give much lift at all. Most people prefer the OME setup Kelly described, it seems... |

This past spring I replaced the LR HD in the rear, and installed the LR extra HD in the front with the blistein's. I didn't take measurements like a knucklehead, but Im riding higher by 1 easily, and as far as Im concerned it rides like it did when it was new off the lot. My original springs were done for, 140K mostly hwy, but with a fair amount of off-road and heavy towing/hauling duty. My disco was looking like a low rider next to newer models Hope this helps a bit |

Just installed this setup on my truck. I can't compare to ride fron stock/new because I got the truck new, but the ride is pretty nice. It's definitely stiffer than before, and I can take turns a lot better without a ton of lean. Bumps in the road aren't felt as much either. I didn't get much lift in the front (maybe an inch, maybe less), but the back has a noticeable lift (atleast an inch or 2). If someones really interested, I can send them before and after pictures of my truck! [email protected] Cheers, Eric |
