I found out that BFG makes 285x65R18 All Terrains. I want to put these on my truck. Does anyone know what or if I will have to modify the suspension. Is there anything else I will have to do to accommodate these tires on an 03 HSE. Thanks, Hill |

That tire is almost 33" tall and 11.5" wide. I would think you would need 3" of lift to fit them. I have a 2" lift (D1) and with the MTR 235's I had to trim. MTR's are almost 32" tall and only 9.3" wide. Hope this helps. Maybe someone with a D2 will chim in. Max |

I have them on a RTE 3" lift and they fit great. You can prob get by with a 2" lift but 3" is no prob at all. I did have to adjust my steering stops, but not much. Nitto makes a 285/60/18 AT that will fit with a 2" lift. Or if you want to go bigger, BFG makes a 35/12.5/18 MTR -Rick |

Does anyone know what the biggest 18" tire is that would fit on a D2 stock height? |

Thanks for all of the info.....I didn't have any clue how much it would take. Are those the tires that you guys would do? Any other suggestions are welcome. If any of you have any pics of your trucks with tires this size would you let me know? Thanks again, Hill |

here's what i'd do: buy a set of 16 inch wheels. lift suspension 2 inches and 265/75-16 for tires. if you dont' want to lift, then keep the stock tires/wheels. |ho>

I don't mind lifting....I talked with my dealer and he said I need to wait until my warranty is up...I really don't see why that should void your warranty....I can't wait for these tires to wear out. |

That's wierd, my dealer said they dont't have a problem with lifting mine. I want to talk to them more about the warranty before I actually do the lift. |
