Meg Ryan drove one in some recent movie where Walter Matheauw (sp?) was her Dad. She got hit in the beginning and drove around with it smashed up for the rest of the movie. |

I watched that Michael Douglas movie the other night, recent flick with the DII in it. I must say that's among my favorites, only because he smashes through gates and drives like a maniac... |

I saw a movie on TV several weeks ago called the "List of Adrian Messenger". It was made in the early 60's. Starred Kirk Douglas as the villian and George C. Scott as the detective, with a bunch of other big name stars in cameo roles. In one scene, a fox hunt in England, most of the hunters are on horseback, but one couple follow along in an old Land Rover SWB, probably a Series II. Check it out. |
