Don't bother. Try Meridian in San Diego. There are parts in the factory box you can't separate.

Donald, when you get to the install be sure to search archives. Lots of good info. I learned a valuable lesson when I installed a used box and found the hose fittings crossthreaded. Had to remove and bottom tap! Also final alinement of the steering wheel is trickey. Alinement can fix a little but pay carful attention to keep everything as close as possible.

If I remeber right, the basic rebuild kit for the box is about $120. I purchased one to rebuild mine but then I found out I could just get a box from Meridian for under $300....so I returned the rebuild kit. I have about 40K miles on my Meridian box and it still works well.

rebuilt kit is like $20-25

so if you have a spare box and the tools i suppose it's worth trying just to learn.

but practically i think it is probably better to buy a rebuilt unit.
