(The Crosslander is an ARO built under license in Brazil). However, instead of an LR-derived diesel from Brazil, the SMD version sticks in a Mazda 3.0 V6. The contact listing for the SMD sounds like a residential address. I drove one and they are complete shit. The build quality leaves alot to be desired. I was looking at a Chrysler Pacifica for the Mrs and the dealers were all over me about the Crosslander. I told them that the Pig was a Rover Product and I didn't know jack about the xlander.   gp (Garrett) Senior Member Username: Garrett Post Number: 2300 Registered: 10-2001 Posted on Monday, September 08, 2003 - 09:32 am:    seems like lots of people are pulling out of the Crosslander dealerships. seems like lots of the information has been floating around is 50% what was originally said. and the product itself seems like a good concept, but the end product does not follow through. get what you pay for in the end as usual. crosslander looks to be a cracker jack toy compared to a rover.
