Has anyone tried the new Bridgestone Dueler M/T? The reviews on tire rack are pretty impressive and thier overall rating is higher than MTR's

I used them on my Toyota and they are very good tires offroad and on. They aren't the most durable in rocks, but for loose stuff and mud, they excel (they clean very well). Onroad they were quieter than other radial MT's I've used, and they did great in rain and snow w/ stability and tracking.

I put 20k on them, sold them to a friend w/ a Montero and he put another 15k on them and they still have 1/4 - 1/3 tread left.

That being said, I have MTR's on my Disco and Toy. :-)

True the reviews are "slightly higher" BUT look at the number of reviews 243 for MT/R vs 80 for the Dueler M/T...

the MT/R's with almost three times as many reviews and one million more miles, MT/R's still keep their high marks. it will be interesting to see what the dueler MT's review numbers look like when they have that many reviews and miles under them...

but with that said i did seriously consider Duelers before i went with my MT/R's...

Bottom line i'd bet a dollar if you "blind tested driving" a rig with MT/R's and Dueler M/T's... you walk away saying... "Six of one, half dozen of the other..." AKA "its all good..."
