Has anyone used these tires in the snow and what is your opinion?

Thanks!

Sorry I can't discuss the snow issue. I live in North Central Texas and I think we are training grounds for hell. Anyway, I have had these on for about the last 16,000 miles and love them on the road. They are excellent on wet roads. As far as off road, I have determined that they are not as good in mud as I would like them to be. They are great on rock though. They have a mean look about them. I installed the 255/65/16's which gave me a little bit larger tire than what came stock on my d2. From all the reading I did no this tire before I purchased it there was a lot of bragging in the paraphenalia about how this was a tremendous snow tire. If we ever do get snow here I'll be anxious to see how they do. Mostly though, it's ice instead of snow. Still, I would highly recommend this tire if your truck is a daily driver. My plans will be to eventually get another set of wheels and mount tires on them for strictly off roading. Until then.........this is as good as it's going to get for me.

I had them in snow this past winter and I was very impressed. They did much better than my previous BFG MT's. For an AT tire, I have been pleased. Road manners have been great, and off-road they do pretty good.

They're considered an AT tire? Didn't know that.

I hope they are good, I just ordered 5 of them for my Disco 245-75-16. I can say that by November, December that in WV I will know if they are any good in snow.

I was going to go with some M/T tires, but since it is my daily driver I decided to go with A/T's. From the reviews this is the best I could find for what I am looking for.

Joey,

I have heard great things about the revo. In fact, this time last year I was looking for new tires (driving my wife crazy with it in fact) and I had decided on the revos. I ended up getting some TracEdges instead cause they were noisy and the previous owner returned them after 150 miles.

But back to the revos: labor day weekend I met and wheeled with a guy who had the revos on his defender 90 ... he LOVED them. Quiet on the road, and very capable off road.

When these bargain basement tracedges wear out, they are going to be replaced with the revos.

Let us know how you like them one you get them installed!

PS: FWIW, the revo is tirerack's #1 rated AT!
