I'm getting ready to swap my leaking steering box for a new one. Anything I should be looking out for prior to jumping into this? I've got a copy of the factory workshop manual but would appreciate any tips and lessons learned from those that have already done this. Thanks Andy Baran | ||

Keep in mind that it can be a bitch to get the steering arm off. Mine needed a 20 ton press and a torch to heat it up before it would come off. I figure that the arm crept up the splines after years of use. |
