Pull the abs/hdc/tc sensor wire that goes into the brake shoe on a series 2. Anyone know how much it will cost for a new one? Thanks David

Not quite sure what you are asking. The topic says the sensor but the message says cable. Don't know about the cable but the sensor has to be replaced with the hub as a whole unit. This is because there is no way to get to the sensor without opening the hub. Therefor it is costly, don't know the exact price.

Do an archive search, there has been lenthy discusions regarding the hub on a DII.

Well unfortunately I have the same problem, and the dealer quoted me $972! Since I just replaced my rotors and pads how hard is it to replace the whole hub assembly? That is the only solution.

Not sure on the D2, because my normal OEM parts dealer doesn't have his D2 pages online yet, but for the D1, he lists the ABS sensor at $259.95 for front and $349.95 for rear.

No I don't get any money or discount by mentioning them, just have gotten very good parts fast and with no hassle. Even get an email notice that UPS is shipping the parts.

D1 and D2 are not close in terms of ABS sensors and hub.

Joe, I haven't removed my hub yet but the hardest part looks to be removing the hub nut that's torqued to 320 or 360 lb/ft.

I took a closer look tonite and notice that the sensor that goes in to the hub is unplug. Hopely the only thing it takes is getting pluged back in and not replace the whole thing.
