I was quoted around $450(Canadian) from NAPA to replace wires cap and rotor on my 95 Disco. Sounds a little high to me, any ideas?

Go with Magnecor wires and genuine cap and rotor. Lots of garbage caps out there, but OEM plug wires are also garbage. Bill |

I agree with Bill and Chris...OE Lucas caps and rotors are the only way to go. Magnecor wires are a great investment that I also would suggest. I have had mine for about two years and they still look and work as new. |

Even OE lucas is sometimes sketchy, there are actually several lucas caps, buy a genuine one. Magnecor wires are good, there is also an LRNAXXXXX part number for some pretty inexpensive wires from genuine sources, but magnecor is better. Ron |

What about coils? Is genuine LR the "best"? Are any of the aftermarket or third party ones any good? My coil is fine now, but seems to act up when very cold, so I suspect a hairline crack in it somewhere... |
