I lifted my front passenger footwell rug a the foam padding underneath was soaked like wet sponge. There was pretty much a puddle under there. I read previous posts about the ac nipples. I checked those drain tubes and they do not seem to be clogged. Pulled the nipples off even. Most of the water collected closest to the door. Is there anything else that can cause this other than the AC drain tubes? Thanks Drew |

Check the door seals. Has it been rainy near you? The foam under there will hold moisture for a long time. |

Look at the underside of that door, there should be a drain hole or a few, they can get clogged and then the H2O will find a way out of the door into the foot well? Peter |

Ian- It has been very rainy in Baltimore and we are expecting even more rain with the upcoming hurricane. Between a leaky sunroof and now a water logged footwell its driving me mad. The Door seals look ok. Peter- The drain holes look clear. Thanks for the advice guys. I am stumped.... |

Looks like you guys are going to see more of the hurricane than us up here in New England. How bad the sunroof leak? The insulation under there is a notorious cause of rust on Range Rovers. In my experience, it will hold water just about forever. Maybe try hosing the hell out of the hood and windshield area while someone watches inside? Or sit in there and enjoy the hurricane! Are you losing any coolant? Coolant smell? The heater core is about the only other thing under there that holds water. |

Ian, Sunroof leak was fixed by sealing it shut. I was worried about the heater core, but no coolant smell and I am not losing any coolant. Would it be coolant or water in the footwell if it is the heater core? Thanks Drew |

Heater core should be coolant. If it's straight water you should be OK.
