I was thinking of adding a jump seat to our D2, but was wondering if there is a need for special extra hardware or if this cannot be done if it is not a factory install... I don't see mounting points in the trunk but figured they might be under the carpet somewhere.... CAn it be done ? Apologies if this is a stupid question ! Greg |

I don't own a D2, but have been thinking about the same thing because my wife really wants one, but another thing to think about are the seat belts for the jump seats. They mount to the rear pillars (D pillars?), which would require the whole rear interior piece to be replaced. Probably too costly and more trouble than it's worth. |

Jump seats on the D2 are factory installed as opposed to the D1 jump seats that are dealer installed. So to answer your question, no you can not easilly add the factory jump seats on the D2. However, you can add a non-factory rear facing bench seat like they have available for the P38A RR. Glenn |
