I received a message from one of the sales guides at my dealership inquiring about my genuine wrap around brush guard for D2. He has another customer that is interested in purchasing mine and will come pick it up. He offered $150 cash, is that a ridiculously low offer?

Thanks for your input, Jamie

The average on e-bay is $300 not including freight.

Depends on how much you want to get rid of it.
But yes, its quite low, if yours in good condition. New one is about 300-400$, and there is no way that this part will go for deprecation that fast. Of course that probably means that guy will get it from dealer for like 250$...

I think that the dealer is keeping at least $100 for your brush guard.

Thanks everyone - as usual, you were right.

I went to see my rover today and they offered to trade me a good portion of the "labor" hours (for work that has been in progress) in exchange for brush guard & safari lights.

I MIGHT get my rover back soon (next week??) - it has been there for 3 weeks!

Thanks again, Jamie

Just try to not give them safari lights (if those are original LR lights in good shape) for 65$ each (i.e for one hour of their work), as they actually cost more :-))

Jamie, i missed whole thing - what the heck they doing on your truck for entire month?

It's just hanging out with the boys. I can't say for sure -- but, I think my truck has become the shop macot :-)

You know, how at sport events there is a ridiculous and stupid looking mascot of some sort that you can't help but laugh at?? Well, that's my truck... :-) :-) :-)
