Need to find a more cost effective source for O2 sensors for my 1997 D1. Discount Rovers has them for around $90 each. I know retail is at least twice that, but is there another supplier with a better deal?

Not much better than that. You can try www.buyoxygensensors.com and see if it's any better but $90 sounds about right.

Let's face it, if you search around, you MIGHT be able to get a better deal than you can find at Discount Rovers, EE, etc. But, personally, I'd much rather spend a few extra bucks knowing that I'm helping to support a company that is supporting the Rover community, rather than some company that's just whoring out products at the lowest price possible.

My 2¢

No, they don't. It's just an example. We always hear of people looking to save a couple of bucks over Discount Rovers or EE or any other Rover vendor. My point is that the $10 you save on an OME kit or a pair of O2 sensors, may be more well spent with a company supporting a fellow Rover company.

Thanks,
