i need to install an aftermarket stereo and i have to bypass the amp is there and easy directions or a web site that explains this and where to find the amp in a 97 disco

My 95 amp was under the passenger seat. The sub amp is attached to the rear subs in the tailgate. I have not replaced my deck (yet) but everything else is aftermarket.

Yep...I bypassed the amp and installed my own amp and sub in that beast.

My amp was in the passenger side kick panel. I unplugged the harness from the amp, used wire taps and ran new wire to the head unit. Then I mounted a new amp under the drivers seat, and ran speaker wire to my new polk 10". Sounds pretty good but I will replace the stock speakers when I get some extra cash. The rear I could care less about, but the front could definitely use some help
