1992 rrc are there abs sensors on the rear discs brakes? i looked today while changing the pads and saw non. if there are. is it possible the previos owner has changed to a eairler caliper. i just cant see this to be true but who knows now a days |

Sensors on the rear slide in from the inside of the hub on the axle side (as opposed to down from the top on the front axle) Sensors read off of exciter ring that is bolted to the inside of the brake rotor. Bill |

so how do i get at them? do i have to remove the hub and wheel bearings. i have a abs light on and am trying to diagnose the problem. hopfully it is just the sensors out of phase |

Nothing to remove - just pry sensors up slightly with a flat screwdriver or interior trim tool and then reseat by hand. You'll see once you get under there. Bill |
