I have a Jeep and been looking at getting a Disco. My question is, Does the Disco's get what we in Jeep land call Death Wobble (violent shacking of front end) after doing lifts or by worn control arm bushings and out of alignment. The reason I ask is because from what I can see both vehicles have about the same suspension. Thanks |

Scott, I think it's safe to say that no vehicle is going to drive well if the bushings are worn. As far as a wobble after lifting, I have a '00 DII with about 5" of lift and no wobble at present. The only "alignment" you can do on a Rover is the toe-in. Nothing else is adjustable. You can alter the castor but you have to get custom radius arms for that, and it won't be adjustable. Rmember, Rovers use a 2-link design, whereas most coil Jepps use a 4-link, whick will allow for more adjustments. |
