Hey Mr. Brown,

I see from your photos you have a new blade style bumper with winch and a stock brush bar. What's the story?? It looks great and is exactly what I've wanted. (I feel the ARB is a bit BIG)

Hello Carl!

I cut the brush bar about 1/4" below the second cross bar, and welded two flat horizontal plates to the bottom of the main tubes. Smaller front vertical plates are welded onto each of these.

1/2" bolts go through each of these 4 plates and are tapped into the RTE, which is 1/4" thick.

In addition, one bolt each side at the back helps strengthen sides so they don't move.

I welded on limb riser tabs too, which go right through the top and out of the bottom of the side bar.

If you want close-ups let me know.

Or better still come down this weekend for the pine barrens trip:-)

Dean

Sorry Dean, no post storm rides untill I get my new tires. ...but I'd like to see a close up of the bracket you fabricated. I like the slim bumper, and stock bar look. I bet it does well in the Pine'ies
Is this a one shot deal, or will you be making (adapting more bars) for D-web "friends"??? ..at your usual production rate of coarse.

I like that a lot, very clean and "factory" looking, though oh so capable.
