I'm posting for a friend who wanted to know if anyone else had experienced a cracked sunroof? He wants to know if it is a common problem, or if it was just his dumb luck? Any reason he should be concerned about a replacement cracking too? Any connection to the weep tubes needing to be blown clear? Sorry for the dumb questions. I told him I didn't remember seeing anyone complain about this, but then I don't read all the D1 threads. |

Whether this is fact or fiction; I've been told that if you tint your sunroof windows, it can cause the glass to absorb more heat and possibly cause it to break. The window tint shop that I went to wouldn't even do them, or the alpine windows. I went to another shop to get them done. So far no problems in the intense Texas heat. Knock on glass! |
