I wish I could say the same! I put several CDs in mine and it doesn't work. I checked the plugs and nothing helps. It has power, but it just won't play!

Not to sound like a pain, but do you have the cd's facing the correct way.....the label side should be down in the player.

Joey, you just made me feel like an idiot. I don't have any instructions for this, so the whole time i have had the label facing up! I'm going to run outside and see for myself.
Thanks, Matt

The POS still doesn't work. I remember hearing that you're suppose to press "band" until it says "CD." Mine doesn't do that, it just goes from FM1, FM2, AM. I just wish I had a set of instruction, then I might be able to figure this out.

Thanks, Matt

In one CD cassette, I have Eagles, ZZTop, Don Henley, Robert Cray Band, Robbie Robinson, Eric Clapton.
In the second cassette, Bueno Vista Social Club, Los Van Van, one cd from Indonesia, one from Cambodia, and a couple I can't remember.
Actually haven't listened to any of them since I got my XM.

I use a cassette tape device with the stereo mini jack into the iPod. You can also use an FM modulator.

sounds like your deck is not reading that you've connected a cd changer. Check the connection near the CD changer. And don't feel stupid for putting the cd in right side up, that's the way it should've been made!

wicks,
check the BBC radio link at the BBC home page.
it will link you to BBC Radio1, from there you can go to dance or urban, under both these headings are lists of radio shows that you can check out and listen.
Or even better, check out ninjatune.net
and go to the solid steel section. if your into trip hop, then this stuff will blow your mind. they also have most of their past shows on line also. there's a $8 fee for a one month trial but it's so worth it.(and no i don't get kick backs, i'm just a huge fan.)
my wife runs a Virgin Mega store so we are able to get a lot of these programs on CD as demos.
my favorite is definately anything put out by "SOLID STEEL".
enjoy the tunes

Marc - I have to ride with you next time and leave my truck at home, I like your music selections, I'll skip riding with Jake :-) . I'll have to say I love BBC radio1 too, since I got the DSL at home I started to stream it into my home stereo. Can you get those demo disks or mixes at your wifes store? I'd love to be able to take it with me. My wife hated trip hop till I kept playing massive attack for her and now shes hooked too. I just wish I could stream audio in the truck for trips. Jake might be onto something with the american idols though ...

ipod users - can you copy a streamed audio track to it and replay it, like tape recording the radio and playing it back?

hey wicks and others interested in trip hop,
the nina tune links to "solid steel" actually has downloadable shows from weeks past. the "TotallyRadio" membership is someting else that my wife uses, and i was confused.
solid steel
scroll over the link with the date and artist under "play list".
the drop bar will also connect you to archived shows. click the window macro media tab and you're in. hours of sassy trip hop tune free for all to enjoy. check it out.
also check out DJ FOOD (Very very cool too)

Thanks Marc, now instead of wasting time on dweb at work I added that stations archives. :-) Good stuff man, I still might have to burn some stuff from you though, its cool to meet others in SLC in to trip hop, etc, I only know one other guy, most people (especially at work) just stare at me and ask "what is that crap?". It okay, not everyone needs to get it, kind of like owning Rover.
