Hi, What kind of T-case has a 2002 disco series II TD5? How many splines has the front output shaft (to the front driveshaft)? Cheers Bowy |

Okay Thanx! So it has 28 splines....... So now I will have to make/think of an idea to make the front double cardan prop fit an normal series flange (smaller) or fit the disco II flange to the series transfercase (10 spline) (still a problem with the handbrake because of the bigger flange) Maybe I can have an special flange machined (the prop is quite cheap so I would like to use it.... )???? Maybe someone got a good idea? Bowy Serious IIa Just for the mud! |

Hi Bowy I would be tempted to get a custom prop made, I bet that would be cheaper than machining a flange to fit. You can easily sell the D11 prop, and recoup some of the cost. Pete S |

Hi Bowy I am in the UK, so I may be way off here, but I paid 50 for a used D2 front prop. New they are just silly price. I suppose it must be worth 50 bucks. Only problem is people aren`t too keen on them as they tend to explode when the hookes joint runs out of grease. I have had no problems, but I keep an eye on it all the time. Pete S |
