Should flash 3 times when you lock it and pause when you unlock it. If it is not flashing, have you checked to ensure that it is locking? I know that mine would not lock once due to a seatbelt got stuck in the door.....got to love kids. Anyway after letting it sit for about ten minutes after the seatbelt was removed, all was good.

anyone know anything about this. i checked the symptoms and here they are. alarm still locks and arms. when a door is opened it goes off. funny thing is no lights flash at all now? what could be the problem. recently replaced the truck battery with an optima. does it need to be reset? |

I would bet is the battery. I had the same problem. New battery, no prob. If you do not switch the batteries quickly you might have to let the remote relearn. Your manual tells you how to do this. I think I just hit the lock unlock buttons a bunch while sitting in the car. Evan |
