I would use 10w30, yeah 7 quarts should be enough make sure you fill the filter when you replace it.

Being in NJ where it gets cold in the winter and not stupid hot in the summer. 5w-30 should work fine. If you plan on changing your own oil, as Phillip states, fill the oil filter before you put it back on.

If you chose to change your own oil, and fill the filter, make sure you fill the correct section of the filter. Most people fill the center section of the filter and call it good. That's the section that goes back to the oil pan. You need to fill the exterior area of the filter.

Boris, when I fill the center section the oil will bleed into the exterior if you let it sit for 30 seconds.

Boris,
How do you fill the exterior area on another way as the one Roger describes, by filling the center section and letting it "bleed" to the exterior section?

John is right. Just let it fill itself up. Fuck it, don't even change oil. Lubrication is for sissys. Real men walk home.
