I just had the HD OME'springs installed which gave plenty of room for 32" 235/85/r16's. (No trimming needed untill off-roading.) Since I have a U-jointed shaft there is no vibrations and the truck drives great. This mod really changes the ability and height of your Disco!!! This is what Ford should change in 2005! |

Ill try to get my neighbors digital camera and take some pictures. I think you'll be very happy when your tires arrive. Your truck will become an official Hummer recovery vehicle! |

matt, be careful you don't cross axle your disco on a deep gutter or driveway approach. the 235's will rub off road or not. the trick is to catch them before the quarters tear on the lower bend, you'll end up cutting more to correct the tear. marc |

I have new 235/85/16 BFG MTs with OME HD. The quarter panels were trimmed and I had to buy longer bolts to extend the trailing arms so that I could get a full turn radius without the tires rubbing on the body. (hope that makes sense). Before trimming, my tires badly rubbed on the panels whilst pulling into my driveway. Anyhow, see pic in my profile. As well, I have a u-jointed shaft from an older Rangie. Overall, I love how it handles, and it looks fantastic. Cheers, Jacquelyne |

Yeah, I looked into just relocating the fenders but really did not like the way it looked (kind of bent, or puckered outwards). |

How much lift is this actually getting for you all? I can't see 1.5" lift and fitting 32" tires. Help me here cause I am looking at this lift also. Do you also have spacers? |

I got about a 3.5" lift - 2" from the HD OME and 1.5" from 235/85/16 Dunlop Mud Rovers |

I think I got about 3.5-4.0" also. I have to "hop" up into my seat now, but I dont mind!!! Is the fender trimming section a good description of where to cut for the HD springs and 32" tires. It doesn't seem to require that much trimming. |

yep, it doesn't take much trimming at all. seems people make more of an issue with actual "cutting", before they realize how much they are "actually" cutting. and the aluminium cuts really nice. m |
