I just started using it in my other car, switched from the bg44k stuff. My dad had what he thinks are very good results with the techron, ran it for years in a 750i, never had top end problems in that V12, which was somewhat notorious for top-end problems in the early years. Ran better when he sold it than it did when he got it. Seems like there was a recent post on this... |

I put some in the other day after reading the recent post and noticed results. I can't say that they were significant but there was an increase in response and acceleration. My check engine light was coming on intermitently (on for a few days, off for a few days) but it's been off now for over 2 weeks. Who knows, maybe that techron stuff is kind of like a prozac for the rig. I'll put some more in if I notice another mood change. |

Yea I am leaning towards using it I dont believe it would do any harm. I know Chevron makes another product called ProGard but was told the Techron is supposed to be more concentrated. Thanks so far and in advance ! |

I use it not only in my Disco, but all my other vehicles at every oil change. Hey, it can't hurt. I've started using Sea Foam; however, in my MG. |
