Just checked the level of oil in my rear diff as it has leaked since the day I bought it. this beige liquid came pouring out of the fill plug. it looked like coffee creamer or something! I have changed the diff fluid religiously, but I'm guessing something is really messed up in the rear axle/diff. any thoughts?

ya, you got water/mud in there. fix the leak and not only will oil not come out but water won't get in.

While you are at it, I'd recommend that you check all the seals (3rd member, axle shafts, etc.). Also, check your axle breathers. The leak could be coming from numerous places and you could have more than one.

Thanks,

Check:

Pinion seal
Stub Axle seals
Hub seals (preferably switch to double lip variety)
and blow out breather for good measure and make sure line isn't off the banjo fitting or cracked.

and obviously change fluid and repack bearings :-)
