anyone know what's involved in modifying the EAS system's air compressor and holding tank to be an on board, on demand, air system? Truck has already been converted to coil suspension.

It can be done but it's a waste of time and money. The compressor is very slow and was never designed to run for the 7 hours it would take you to air up :-) Take a look at the compressor, it's about the size of a coke can. Also, compare the size of the air springs to the tires - you get the idea. Save your pennies for a Powertank. It takes less than 5 minutes to air up all 4 tires, and will also run air tools.

Thanks, Steve. You've confirmed my suspicions. I'd like to think it would make sense to re-purpose what's already there, but a Powertank would surely do the trick!
