I am replacing a head on my 2000 DII. I bought a used head, but come to find out my DII has what is called SAI. There are two adapters that screw into the head, the new head I bought does not have these threaded holes. The engine shop that did the work on my heads said it would not hurt my engine to remove this. Is anyone familiar with this SAI and know how much of a pain it may be to remove it. Thanks, Eric 2000 DII

All I know is that my 2001 D2 is also a Secondary Air vehicle, but I do not anything more about this. If I get a chance, I will browse my RAVE later to see if I can find a definition. |

Thank you, I am really just wondering if it is an easy system to remove.

Thanks Chris, That is just what I was looking for. Sounds like it is no big deal to remove this system from my truck. |

Thank you, That is what I was looking for. Looks like it will be ok to do away with this system.
