The truck then doesn't start - the fuel pump won't come on or engage at this point. Wait some - The truck starts, pumps on and runs smoothly for only a minute and stalls. Won't start again. etc etc.............. New Battery New Alternator Replaced fuel pump - no change Replaced fuel filter - no change Checked coil and connections - no change Checked and swapped out relays - no chnage Rovers asked about iginition wires???? I would check the wires going to the fuel pump for any shorts or breaks in the wire. I would also check the Fuses for the fuel pump. Then if that isn't it, I would make sure that the alarm is not shutting you down. Try locking and unlocking the doors via the remote a couple of times. |

I'm definitely not the expert here. I did recently replace my fuel pump though. Anyhow, if that is where you stand, I would lean toward fuel pump relay going bad. You could check for voltage back at the fuel pump and leave it on there while running to see if there is any change in voltage causing the pump to cut off. If there is no change in voltage just before it dies..It Could possibly be a bad "new" pump? Good luck.. RS |
