2000 D2 passenger seat moves up and down, but doesn't move front to back. When I hit the switch, I can hear the motor click under the seat but no movement. Is it the motor and is it hard to replace? Or can it be the switch? where's the best place to get replacement parts or motor? TIA.... |

Same on my DII. Had to replace motor. Its probably not the switch but that is the first thing they are going to check. I was still under warranty so no charge. The motor is expensive 200-300 dlls. |

this is very common on DII's. The track is binding not allowing the seat to move back or forth properly. The dealer will put shims in the track and that should take cars of your problem. ken |
