I'm trying to contact Stuart, and sent him an e-mail at varoverboy@hotmail, but I haven't heard from him. Any ideas on how else to get in touch with him? |

Greg,
If you don't know, Stuart was in a BAD accident just before the last MAR. He was driving a tractor while doing prep-work for the MAR, and a tree fell over and hit him on the head. Almost killed him, but he survived. Took him awhile to even get on his feet, but actually did quite well considering what happened.
I asked a mutual friend about him while at Uwharrie, who said that he's still doing okay, but, well, he's not exactly back to his old self. He's having a bit of trouble with the re-inserted bit of his skull, he still has some memory issues, etc.
If you're needing club info, I'd try contacting one of the other officers. If you're wanting anything more personal, I can put you in touch w/ someone who keeps up w/ him closer than I have.

Thanks guys. I was aware of Stuart's accident, but thought he had fully recovered. That sucks. I had spoken to him briefly just before his mishap, and he acted like he had known me forever. |

Yeah, it does. Before I ever had a Rover, Vince invited me up to Roanoke, and had Stuart come over, and both showed me their Series' Rovers... that's why I ended up w/ a Series.... both of them were just as helpful as they could be right-off, acted as if you'd been hangin' w/ 'em for years.
I really hope he does recover back to himself. When I talked to Vince, he said that if you didn't really know him, that you wouldn't notice, but that if you do really know him, that you can still tell.....
Bummer.... I wish him the best....

Stuart is getting married very soon...very soon, and is proberly really busy with that going on.. |
