This just started when I got home from work today... hit the button or manually locking the power doors. ticking noise for about 2 secs like its trying to engage/disengage. Still locks/unlocks fine... Guess I need to rip apart the door panel??? Thoughts appreciated... W2 99D1 |

Took apart the door - its the actuator. The plastic gears are slipping, though it still works. LR dealer wants $200, AB wants $199. there's one here in the classifieds for $60 from a '97. I will try to find from somewhere else. Not essential from what I've read here, just annoying...
