Flowmaster - The FM part is dependant on which one you want - common is either 40 Series or 50 Series. I put on a 50 Series and has a great tone and throaty rumble. The 40 Series is louder - it all depends on what you want to achieve, with both providing the same level of performance.

If you are ordering on-line, first go to their website. Search muffler w/ 2.25inch pipe with offset exhust-side I believe. Definately cut off the rear muffler - it is actually a resonator, which is for sound attenuation - don't need it. I had mine cut off and installed a s.s. 3inch tip from where the cut it it. All welded connections. $150 total at my local Mieneke shop.

Gears/Lift - los of discussion on these, just look thru previous posts. Generally done (incl. me) is OME HD lift (2inch). Gears generally needed to return to original ratios after the larger tires (235/85, 265/75) is 4.10 and are available from a number of Rover suppliers - Great Basin Rovers being the most common. Gears are not a must, but you will notice performance loss (more upshifting, MPG loss, etc.) IF you are also debating air lockers, do it together with the gears so you only deal w/ this once.

Do more research on this - plenty of postings.

Your on your way to mo' fun!
