Wanted to know how diffucult to replace the rubber around the windows that are cracked. Could a auto glass repair do this? |

Yes, it's a straight forward job. All you need is new rubber, some string, and a razor knife. If the splits are not completely through, then you could seal them up with some black RTV. |

yeah, i don't use a razor either? to remove, gently push from the inside towards a buddy on the outside. you'll be suprised how easy they pop out. marc |

I have the same problem as well and after going and seeing how they install glass with the new adheasives why not go with out like the new'r discovery's and use a black sealent and seal them up to look the same or does this piece of rubber actually hold the piece of glass in? It's ugly as sin after it cracks! alex |
