Wanted to know how diffucult to replace the rubber around the windows that are cracked. Could a auto glass repair do this?

Yes, it's a straight forward job. All you need is new rubber, some string, and a razor knife.

If the splits are not completely through, then you could seal them up with some black RTV.

yeah, i don't use a razor either?
to remove, gently push from the inside towards a buddy on the outside. you'll be suprised how easy they pop out.

I have the same problem as well and after going and seeing how they install glass with the new adheasives why not go with out like the new'r discovery's and use a black sealent and seal them up to look the same or does this piece of rubber actually hold the piece of glass in?
It's ugly as sin after it cracks!
