thats a steal...I imagine the carfax goof ups (if thats what they are) are dissuading some people from biffing, though I think that's quite a bargain. They also had a '00 Trek Package Disco with 3 hours left for 16K...

Ha! I almost bought that rig a year ago from a seller in NY as a project vehicle. CarFax was a mess. There were something like five states it had been registered in, two salvage claims, and three odometer errors. I figured it might be worth the risk and we negotiated $14.5K on it after it did not sell on ebay. I got nervous over the terms of sale and the sketchy history and decided to wait for something better.
