I have a Disco II and want to install the disco I cdl shifter linkage. I heard they go for about $100. Where can I buy one? Thanks, Jamil |

British Recycling has them for $175. What year is your D2? It may not have the nut on the t-case to activate the cdl. |

If it is an '01 or later (Jamil I know yours is a '99) what other reasonable options are there for a CDL without swapping transfer cases...etc.? thanks -Jim |

Thanks Bill. Jim, I'm not sure what the other options are without the nut there. I've heard of solenoid kits but don't really understand what they are all about. Jamil |

The solenoid turns the nut when you push a button. It works great except for a heat sensitive fuse that shuts off when it gets to hot. I've seen this happen. Jim, as far as other options, I don't know of any besides getting a vehicle that already has cdl. I'm trying to figure out what I need for my 03 to hook up the D1 linkage. |
