Either the tach wire to the alternator is disconnected or the person before you replaced the alternator with one that does not work with the rpm gauge. In my last '92 I had the same problem which turned out to be the alternator was not compatable with the tach. I am not sure which brand it was. If you have a '90 there is a very good chance you do not have the original alternator. |
