Search the archives for any specific questions or ask it again. Best thing to do is find some mud and see what it can do, then see what you want to upgrade. The low range and cdl are activated by the knob in front of the shifter. There are a few weak points, but overall its a very strong vehicle, just quirky. congrats on the new purchase, welcome to the club.

the off road is great the 4 wheel action is the best even in a stock vehicle compared to any other stock vehicle out there. you will love owning it and if any problems or questions do arise just come here someone always seems to know the answer.

Thanks a lot, I really apreciate your time, I'll be posting, more often, I understand that this are a bit expensive vehicles, so I'll wait a couple of months to save some money in case I have to fix sopmething after a nice off road experience, I just have a question now, I was investigating the interior of the Disco, and the owners manual, and I couldn't shift the differential lock, I tried shifting it to the left but it is too hard, and I don't want to brake it, I'll ask the same question again though, I'm really looking forward to meet you all for a trip, it is the dream of my live(well...one of many)thank you all, and see you soon

The following link is what I used to fix my Diff Lock in my '97 Disco. The only change that I made was when reinstalling the cover with the rubber seal I used self taping screws (just in case I ever have to get back in there)
