Before I lifted my rig, the biggest question I had was how much driveline vibration I was going to create. I installed NWP 3" Green Monster springs which gave me a full 4" lift. (No winch, roofrack or sliders) I also removed the vibration dampener from the front axle when I did the springs/shocks. I ran the rotoflex for about 4 months before serious vibration started. My dealership said they'd pull the roto centering peg for free if I drove my truck in without the driveshaft. Without a rear driveshaft installed, I am vibration free up to as fast as I ever drive (85mph) I'm going to a universal jointed rear driveshaft which should address the shortcomings of the rotoflex. Hope this is encouraging to anyone who is thinking of a lift and are as concerned as I was about driveline vibration issues. [Your results may vary] 1996 D1, 110,000 miles. Original driveshafts, axles, and differentials. Synthetic lubricants used throughout the driveline. |

Watch out for your rear driveshaft still vibrating after you eliminate the roto. You may need new rear links to correct pinion angle. I did with my D1 and 4 inches of lift. |
