Hi again, I have one more question , as I was investigating the 96 disco that I just got, I couldn't move the diff lock shifter I tried moving it to the left but it wont go, it can be moved to Hi and lo, but not sideways, I tried another disco and it moved with out too much effort, any ideas? thanks in advance Marco |

Thank you very much, I'll try that first thing in the morning, if using brute force doesn't work, I'll have to follow the instructions, or get some help, it seems that is going to be a little difficult, I'll let you know tomorrow, Thanks again. Marco |

Marco, Just to let you know, even though I am a decent back yard mechanic. I wouldn't rate this job as too difficult, just take your time. I took me about 2.5 to 3 hours to do all the work, or course I took my time and made sure that I didn't break anything. If I had to do this again, probably wouldn't take more that 2 hours total. |
