My 96 D1 has recently developed a rough idle. Its doesn't happen all the time but occasionally at a stop light it will idle rough, but the acceleration is fine and it still goes down the road fine. Other days it will idle fine. The plugs and wires are new and the air filter is clean, has anyone else had this problem? I checked the archives, but all the other rough idle problems seemed to have a starting problem too, which mine does not. Thanks for any advice. |

My 95 D1 does the same thing, but the idle gets low almost to the point were it is going to stall. This happens when put it drive I have to keep my foot on the pedal to prevent it from stalling. |

The stepper motor is the same one GM uses, if so I think my brother has a extra I can use. |
