I took my rear cargo lamp apart, cleaned the contacts, and finally figured out how to put it back together. Now NONE of the interior lamps work. NOTHING inside works now - not my clock, radio, odometer, etc. I can start my D2 and the headlights will come on. Everything was else worked fine before I started trying to fix the rear cargo light. Does anyone know how I broke everything else?? Thanks, Jamie |

Thanks Andy! You are right, I did blow a fuse. Good news is that cargo light now works. Bad news is that I knocked that little thingy off that holds the screw thingy (that you have to turn with a quarter to turn). It is down below where all the uses are and is wedged good into to the far left under the panel opening. Since it is plastic, a magnet won't pick it up. My needle nose plyers are straight. I guess it's up to radio shack again! I think I saw pliers that have an angle on them there. When oh when will I wise up and quit trying to fix things myself?? Hopefully, this trip up I will also remember to buy a panel popper (if they have them). I have been using a salad fork! |

Get a flexible grabber, they're only a few dollars, I keep one with me in the vehicle, you can't believe how many times its pick out someone's bolt or screw or air-box clip from the depths of the engine! |

Salad fork as panel popper, eh? That's a good idea! I've been buying bags of those things and just replacing them...
