I have a broken fan blade, luckily nothing else. I remember reading a few months back about metal fan units. Has anyone swapped the plastic LR fan with a metal one? I tried searching the archives but no luck. Part numbers and/or purchase location would be very helpful.

The dealer has the standard fan blade for $98 if there isn't a good alternative.

Thanks.

Chad - standard fan blade is like 50$ from roversnorth.com

And i just swapped mine with broken blade to metal flexalite 17" one. Its pain in butt, b/c you have to do all precise measurements as our fans got 3 bolts pattern and most stuff available - 4 bolts. Plus you will need to invent spacer, as they all 4 bolts too.

Other than that - piece of cake :-)

I am not talking about pattern on viscous unit, but about pattern on pump itself.

There isnt much space to fit anything serious if you still want to use viscous unit :-( at least i gave up on it.
