I can't seem to find the correct replacement wiper blades for my 99 Disco II. One place says I need 18", one says 21" and neither one seems to fit. Does anyone know for sure what I need, short of biting the bullet and paying the dealership's inflated cost?

Well you can always get refills, but I tried that and found if they are not the exact same setup as o.e. then they will not sit flat on the windshield. If Bosch makes refills maybe they would work, but short of that I dont know what to say other than go to the dealer. However, it might be possible to put the arms from a D1 instead of the D2s arm, then you could put about any blade you want on there. You will just have to pull out the ole tape measure and take a look. BTW, they are 21" if you want to try refills. The Anco book said 22" but they are too long.

Pull the wiper off the car, take it inside, match it and buy
or call up somewhere like Atlantic British

I just removed the blade from the wiper and replaced it with the Anco blade W-21R.
She works Just fine, though it took a little time replacing the blade.

Go with Silblades.....cost a little more, but very well worth every penny.

You can get them at EE or directly from Silblade.

SilBladeŽ wipers are available in lengths from 12" to 24" and come complete with metal frames, stainless steel rails and universal adapters for easy installation on most cars and trucks.
