We have a 1995 Disco and at first glance, there are no predrilled holes for mounting the OEM running board brackets. I suppose it could be that the undercoating covered the predrilled holes up. Does anyone know for sure if there are predrilled holes or not? If I have to drill holes, am I right that I have buy some copper paste to dress the hole? Thanks much.

Arthur, I just removed my OEM running boards from my 95 Disco SI. No drilling is required to mount the running boards. Each mounting bracket (two per running board) attaches using two bolts/nuts; a body mount bolt and a nearby hole in the support bracket. The brackets take a total of about 20 mins to install and then the running boards install in about 10 mins. It helps to have a second pair of hands to align the running board mount holes with the brackets. Overall, it's pretty easy once you know what mounting points to use.
Best of luck,
Chris
