Just saw the movie and the opening scene had a Series 2. Geez, I need to get a life! :-)

Ken

Movie wasn't bad either.

I haven't seen the movie, but doesn't Adam Sandler pull the parking brake on the RRC? That has to do some damage considering it brakes a drum behind the transfer case. I was thinking about watching the movie just to see what happens! I know I must be a LR nut if I notice stuff like that.

Ahem....it's a 95 RRC LWB, and we have one just as clean....LOL My wife and I enjoyed the hell out of the scenes with it in.

We also watched The Italian Job last night and enjoyed the 2 D90s on the Dam....saying no more in case you haven't seen it yet.

One last item, not a movie, but in the book "The DaVinci Code", there is some prominent RR use and discusion. Absolutly the BEST book I have read in a long time!

See you all at Solaros!

There is a D2 in the background of one of the "Girls Gone Wild" movies...or so I have heard!

In The Italian Job I swear they were 110s, since they had 4 doors, maybe I am wrong.

I hope so Ken, it's ALWAYS great to put a face to a name! Solaros will be a blast I have no doubt!

Our LWB (which won't be at Solaros) is dark green with tan interior...runs pretty good for 102k miles!

CALM, you might be right, they might've been 110's...still gave me wood either way!

I think they were 110s.
I like the Discover Card commercial where she is filling up a Discovery with gas and the kids throw pudding at the back window.

If you watch the Italian Job again and pay attention to the end when a motorcycle cop is pulling over one of the characters driving an Austin Healy (I think), when the character looks in the rearview mirror you'll see a D2 off to the right of the motorcycle cop.

I thought my wife was going to send me to counseling when I pointed it out. No worries though, we just bought her a RR. Hopefully she'll get the bug and wont make fun of me so much...HA!
