Bastards from Daniels Cadillac own the rights to LR from the Lehigh Valley up thru the Poconos and they were SUPPOSED to put the dealership in Allentown next door to their BMW/Cadillac facility. But LRNA in their infinate wisdom thought Wilkes-Barre would be better. Congrats to you, but I still have to drive 70 miles to get to the nearest dealership, and when you own 2 LRs there is always a need....so how far is Easton from Wilkes-Barre????

Well, Rans, I just drove a 542 mile round-trip from Glacier National Park to get to the dealer in Spokane, WA. Cost me a day of personal leave and a night in a hotel in Spokane. Seventy miles one way doesn't sound too bad to me.

Why is having a dealer ANYWHERE nearby an advantage ... other than warranty repairs, they need to be AVOIDED like the plague!!!!

dealers have their place. when you need them they are there. and one day you will.

Peter..yeah, what Garrett said.....curently there isn't even an independant shop nearby that will touch my Rovers, nor any that I would let touch my Rovers. Garretts shop is even further away....3 hours or so, but I'd trust him implicitly, (except with my daughters or my dogs.) When you need to have the codes in the ECU reset, or certain other fixes made, there is a need. Not that I want to go that route, just sometimes there is no choice.

William, thanks for reminding me that sometimes what makes me whine would be a treasure to someone else. It's all relative....on the other sie of the coin, I'd just love to live in or near Glacier National Park!! I'd even drive 500+ miles for the opportunity! LOL
