I am looking at these in 3" or the OME HD's for a lift for my Disco. What are everyones thoughts. Do they sag bad, rough ride, too tall. Let me know. I found the Big Blue's on DAP's web site in a kit w/shocks, bushings. Let me know, also on the OME lift do you need to change the roto-flex rear D/S. My front is u-jionted but not dbl. cardon. I ended up with a set of these in my garage recently and decided to try them out in place of my OME's. I do like them, but there is a compromise. They seem to have a very linear (or even regressive) spring rate as opposed to OME's being more progressive. They feel nice and stiff on the road, but get harsh when hitting bumps. Off road, they are excellent and offer great compression with a good ride. I can't say that I reccomend one over the other, but I would give the OME's a slight edge since they have a great on-road presence, and work OK off-road as well. The choice is yours. |
